Quadruple wavelength
Quadruple-wavelength 755/808/940/1064nm hair removal machines from £7,700 ex. VAT. One handpiece, every Fitzpatrick type.
HairRemovalMachines.co.uk supplies professional laser and IPL hair removal machines to UK clinics, salons and medi-spas. A multi-wavelength hair removal machine emits 755nm, 808nm, 940nm and 1064nm from a single handpiece, letting the operator match the wavelength to the client rather than the client to the machine.
The clinical argument is simple. 755nm clears fine, light hair fastest; 808nm is the deep, safe, everyday workhorse; 940nm reaches coarse follicles that 808nm starts to under-serve; 1064nm passes through epidermal melanin for Fitzpatrick V and VI. A single-wavelength platform forces a compromise on at least one of those groups. A quadruple-wavelength platform lets the same operator run a Fitzpatrick II fine-hair face at one setting and a Fitzpatrick VI coarse-beard client an hour later at another.
The commercial argument is booking density. Every client you have to decline, or refer, or schedule around a second machine, is a gap in the diary that still carries rent and staff cost. Clinics that move from a single-wavelength system to a quadruple-wavelength one usually report the gain as fewer declined consultations rather than as faster individual treatments — and declined consultations are the expensive kind of loss, because they cost the whole course, not one session.
The honest caveat is that multi-wavelength does not mean four separate lasers. These platforms blend or select outputs from a diode bar array, so the 755nm behaviour is not identical to a dedicated crystal Alexandrite, and the 1064nm behaviour is not identical to a dedicated long-pulse Nd:YAG. For hair removal across a mixed client base that difference rarely matters. For specialist vascular or pigment work it does, and you should be looking at a dedicated platform instead.
If you want the reasoning behind each individual wavelength, the wavelength guide sets out the absorption and depth logic in detail.
