Part exchange
Trade the machine you have against the one you need
Part exchange turns a machine that is costing you consumables and downtime into deposit on a system that treats more skin types faster. We value other suppliers' equipment as well as our own.
What affects a hair removal machine's part-exchange value
Four things move the number. Technology first: a 755/808/1064 nm multi-wavelength or commercial diode platform holds value because it treats the whole Fitzpatrick range. Second, usage — shot count or lamp hours against the source's rated life. Third, documented servicing and calibration; undocumented machines are valued as unknown-risk. Fourth, parts supply: if the manufacturer no longer supports the handpiece, the residual is scrap value however good the cosmetics look.
How the part-exchange process runs
- 1. Send model, serial, shot count, service records and photographs.
- 2. Receive an indicative written valuation and a matched replacement shortlist.
- 3. We inspect on site at delivery and confirm the figure.
- 4. Value is deducted from the invoice or applied as finance deposit; we remove the old unit.

Frequently asked
- What is my old hair removal machine worth in part exchange?
- Value depends on technology, hours or shot count, service history and whether the handpiece is serviceable. A well-maintained diode platform from the last five years typically carries the strongest residual value; unsupported IPL systems with no parts route usually carry none.
- Do you take machines you did not supply?
- Yes. We part exchange other suppliers' laser and IPL systems provided the unit is complete, powers on and has no unrepaired laser-source fault.
- How is the valuation done?
- You send the model, serial, approximate shot count and service records with photographs. We give an indicative figure in writing, then confirm it after inspection at collection or commissioning.
- Can part exchange be combined with finance?
- Yes. The part exchange value is applied as a deposit against the finance agreement, reducing the amount financed and the monthly payment.
