What training do I need to use a laser hair removal machine?

In practice you need laser and IPL core-of-knowledge safety training plus documented training on the specific machine class you operate. Insurers require this evidence before cover applies, and local authority licensing often requests it. Machine-specific training is supplied with every system we deliver.

The two layers of training

Core of knowledge covers laser and IPL physics, tissue interaction, hazards, eyewear, controlled areas and adverse-event management. It is generic to the technology rather than to a machine.

Machine-specific training covers your platform's wavelengths, fluence ranges, pulse widths, cooling behaviour, handpiece technique and console operation. This is what determines day-to-day treatment quality, and it is why we book training around delivery rather than after it.

What to keep on file

Training certificates for every operator, the machine's user manual and local rules, patch-test and consultation records, servicing and calibration certificates, and your insurance schedule naming the machine. Councils and insurers ask for these, and an adverse event is a poor time to discover a gap.
